IGF-1 LR3
Performance
IGF-1 LR3 (Long R3 Insulin-like Growth Factor-1) is a synthetic 83-amino acid analog of human IGF-1 with an arginine substitution at position 3 and an extended N-terminal sequence. These modifications reduce binding affinity to IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs), significantly extending its half-life compared to native IGF-1. It has been extensively studied for its activity at IGF-1 receptors in cellular proliferation, muscle satellite cell activation, and anabolic signaling research models.

Mechanism of Action
IGF-1 LR3 binds to the IGF-1 receptor (IGF1R) and activates downstream PI3K/Akt and MAPK/ERK signaling cascades. The arginine substitution at position 3 reduces IGFBP binding by approximately 1000-fold compared to native IGF-1, dramatically prolonging its biological activity window in research models. This enables sustained activation of mTOR-dependent protein synthesis and satellite cell differentiation pathways.
